Walnut Frying pan 28 cm   Skeppshult of Sweden began making hand crafted cast iron cookware out of virgin iron ore in 1906. One hundred years later, the durability, versatility, and beauty of their products is a testament not only to the tenacity of cast iron but also to Skeppshult. Cast iron heats efficiently, can be used on any surface, and withstands, disperses and stores heat better than its nonstick cohorts, and Skeppshult’s concave design prevents warping.   FEATURES Cast iron frying pan Walnut handle Designed & made in Sweden   SIZE Diameter Ø 11" / 28cm Weight 5.8 lbs / 2.65kg Bottom Diameter 22cm Height 3.5cm MATERIALS Cast iron USE & CARE All Skeppshult cookware comes pre-seasoned with baked-on organic canola oil, so after a quick rinse under the tap and careful drying, it's ready to use. Use cooking oil, butter or margarine when frying/browning. Clean your cookware as soon as possible after using it and don't let it soak in water. To clean the cookware, use only warm water and a sturdy dish brush, when possible. If soap is needed, we recommend using a mild dish soap. Cast iron products should not be washed in the dishwasher. To release stuck-on food that's difficult to scrub out with just a brush, try rubbing coarse salt and water over the area, or boiling water in the pan. After cleaning, thoroughly dry the cast iron with a towel. The pan can also be warmed on the stovetop for 1-2 minutes to make sure it's thoroughly dry. Rub a light coat of natural food-safe oil on the cast iron with a lint-free cloth, wipe out any excess oil, then store in a dry place. Minor variations in surface texture are a hallmark of a hand-crafted product such as Skeppshult cast iron cookware, and spots or color variations on cookware bases are normal and will fade with use.
